looking to book a room at the springmill fire house banquet hall, know the lieutenant. we're, (xian and i) trying to put a band together to play a couple covers, (5),. ben is in, judah has schedualing conflicts, so perhaps bubbles or brogger or both for lead guitar?
would love to join...I thought the clap(cover band wit Judah, ben, me, rich and ben) were going to perform that night too ...we don't have to if you don't want .....raybrower fill me in on the details-songs, time etc.........also, we are planning a sort of festival the following Saturday with the clap, stonethrown, dj rod Abary, and a solo acoustic performer...everyone is invited...it should be a lot of fun.... open bar (we're still planning it)
'The Judah' is now in. We're planning on a practice session on friday feb 6th.at mom's (aka the lions den) I think y'all should attend. xian has 5 or 6 songs he would like to play, but he REALLY would love it if all his uncles would jam with him. We have the venue for 4 hours. it will be open bar and we're planning about 50 people to attend saturday feb. 28 7-11pm.
Perhaps we could brain storm on friday (feb.,6th) and put together a variety group arrangements, depending on the genre and song types; ballad, acoustic, hard rock, punk, pop, etc... i'm really itching to do cover of 'love rescue me' by u2, xain thinks it sounds too 'churchy'
awesome...I'm there!....I don't know if I'll be all that familiar with any tunes xian (I love that spelling) might want to play...raybrower-can you get Xian to pick some tunes ahead of time so I can download them and find the music... it'll be a lot more fun and productive then on Friday

i think bubbles should indeed play the guitar as well as juder...i'm thinkng my services are no longer needed, although i would love to be a part of the band....raybrower, please advise
