I think what's interesting about the Code is that it does remind us that the version of the bible we read has gone thru several, if not many edits and translations that were geared toward a political agenda...highlighting the fact that the bible was written by man
ive always thought the bible had passages that were contradictory with itself....so, unlike our father I don't believe we can take the bible word for word....this doesn't mean I don't believe, it just means that we have to be logical too
this leads to a different discussion on faith, doctrine, and fundamentalism
